Women's T20 Asia Cup, India Beat Pakistan in Final

India’s women’s cricket team— missing captain Mithali Raj and star bowler Jhulan Goswami due to injury, still managed to win the low-scoring final of the Asia Cup T20 tournament against Pakistan.

The Indians, who chose to bat first, scored just 81 runs before they were all out in 20 overs. The top scorer was Poonam Raut with 25 runs from 33 balls. Her inning included three boundaries. Pakistan’s Sana Mir was their best bowler with figures of 4/13.
